HIGHLIGHTS OF THE LEOPOLD COLLECTION

Artworks from the Leopold Museum in Korea

From November 30, 2024 to March 3, 2025, Egon Schiele's “Self-Portrait with Lampion Fruits” and other highlights from the collection will be on display at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul as part of an extensive “VIENNA 1900” exhibition. During this time, the Leopold Museum is presenting a large number of new works, including paintings and drawings by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoschka and Max Oppenheimer that have rarely been shown before in the permanent presentation “VIENNA 1900”.  Outstanding exhibits by artists of the “New Objectivity” from Germany (Christian Schad, Alexander Kanoldt etc.) are presented in dialog with works of Austrian art from the interwar period in several rooms on the ground floor.
