The Leopold Museum was the first museum in Vienna to offer diverse insights into the oeuvre of the artist Edmund Kalb (1900-1952). The astonishing work of this loner and lateral thinker was illustrated with 125 exhibits, presenting a restless artist who – far away from the bustling art scene of the metropolis – created his artistic oeuvre, which he consistently documented in photographs, though he never sold a single work during his lifetime.
