Leopold Museum closed until end of March to contain the spread of coronavirus

Following the decree issued by the Federal Government of Austria and its measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus, the Leopold Museum will be closed from 11th March until the end of March 2020.

The Leopold Museum Private Foundation is thus acceding to the decision made on Tuesday, 10th March during the conference of federal museum directors to adopt a uniform approach.

With its temporary closure, the Leopold Museum is adhering to the ministerial decree’s recommendations to protect the health and safety of visitors and employees.
