This summer, the series of themed presentations featuring the permanent collection will shine the spotlight on female images from the Leopold Collection. The selection of works focuses on the period from 1830 to 1930. The first part of the presentation highlights specific themes, such as female portraits, mother-and-child depictions, the environment of women, renderings of female youth and old age, as well as women as nude models.

The second part of the exhibition is dedicated to works created by female artists, including paintings, graphic works and sculptures by Tina Blau, Marie Egner, Olga Wisinger-Florian, Broncia Koller-Pinell, Käthe Kollwitz, Emma Bormann, Wally Wieselthier, Maria Likarz and Kitty Rix.
